This is really T21…

We had a nice visit this morning from Grant, Jenni and Lane. They are staying at our house this week with Collin. 1 1/2 hour drive from our house is better than 4 hours from their house in Muncie, especially with an 18 month old! Grant works from his home so is able to work from anywhere.

Neal’s sister and husband came yesterday afternoon. Dave actually brought some business papers for us to sign. As long as we go during off hours, Neal can go to resturants. We had a late lunch at a cute cafe a couple blocks from our apartment.

Neal had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon. The doctors are very pleased with his progress. His platelets are 128!! Hemoglobin 10.2 and white blood count is 2.0 (that is low but it is his own cells reproducing). Neal finished his injectable antibiotic yesterday so was able to have the line removed from his port today. At his appointment next week they will do a bone marrow test from his hip to see how things are progressing.

To give me something to do I am trying my skills at bread making. I have 2 wheat bread loaves rising so I’ll let you know how they turned out! Watch out Dave Brunsting–you may have some competition!

On the journey,
Trish
