Day of Surgery

Trish and I arose at 5:30 a.m. for our prep at the hospital at 6:30. We are both at peace of what is occuring. The hospital has just remodeled so we have great rooms – but surprisingly there was no mint on the pillow. 🙂

Trish’s parents, and our son Britton arrived just before the happy juice so we were able to pray with Dr. Winslow and Dr. Logan.

Thanks for all of you who provided the goodies that Joy B. delivered! It will go well as we expect a 2 hour surgery with Dr. Winslow, followed by a scheduled 6 hours with Dr. Logan.
We plan to have family through her during the day. Her expected stay is 3 to 5 days.
Britton helped me set up the blog and now is doing some work for church.

  7. thanks Neal for keeping us in the loop. I’m so grateful for our Heavenly Father at a time like this when it’s hard to even know how to pray.

  8. We’re praying continually for all of you. Wish we could be closer to help out, but we trust that friends and family in the area will “take care” of you.:-) We trust God to be FAITHFUL as always. The result today was not what we’d hoped for, but there is MUCH HOPE for the future!! Love you

  9. Neal, Gene and I have been praying for Trish, you and the family. We know that whatever we experience in this life, God is with us and sees us through. That is the strength of our faith.

Tell Trish that we love her and that she is in our prayers.
