We have more news on Trish. The surgery went very well. Due to lymph node findings, the treatment may change now before the final reconstruction surgery. We are waiting to meet with the oncologist next week to determine the plan of action. It is a bit more of a circuitous route to the same end. Please continue to pray for healing.
Sometimes I ponder why we pray. I know God hears us. Do we need to continue to pray for God to finally answer us as we “badger him” or “negotiate”? Nope. I believe that one benefit of the mystery of prayer is that it challenges us to hear the voice of God.
Wouldn’t you agree, that it is the waiting that stretches us? The unknown over which we have no control?
Most of the family were able to get together as she moved into her room. Little did the 75 year old roommate know what was coming! We tried to keep the laughter to a minimum – not very successfully. Laughter is great medicine.
