Today was my last day at work. It was bitter sweet. Every time I would go in to work it was a constant reminder that Neal was gone. Bridgman Family Dental Care has been a part of the Smith family for 58 years. It will continue on in good hands with Dr. Thomas and the staff. Some of the staff have been there the whole time Neal was. We have had babies together, played laser tag, shopped, eaten together, passed around Parmeasan Pete, taken a cooking class, flower arranging class, experienced showers, weddings, funerals, grandkids as well as worked together. Because the dental office has been such a big part of our life our family is grieving this loss as well.
Many people have asked what am I going to do next? I have no clue! I am excited and nervous to see what plans God has for my life next. I know that He is able to do immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20)
I look forward to having more time to babysit the grandsons, help in Whitney’s classroom and travel to visit the kids and friends. I’m starting this weekend by watching Lane and Corbin so Grant and Jenni can get away to celebrate Jenni’s birthday.
On the journey,
Trish
