Neal is feeling very good. He is able to keep food down. His body is having trouble readjusting to sleeping through the night without nurse interruptions. It is very frustrating to him. Yesterday morning we walked to CVS drugstore. In the afternoon we walked to the train station (I wanted to time it-6 minutes!)and over to 53th St.(we live off of 52nd)to check out Borders and the walking route. Yes, we went into Borders. Doctors said Neal could go into places that do not have large crowds and go to restaurants during off times.
I have some girl friends coming today to visit and go downtown for lunch. Yahoo!

Just wondering if you’ve had lunch with Michelle and Barack yet. Glad to hear you’re out and about. Keep up the walking. Our next visit to UCMC is the 3rd of March for my 100 day service. Will be there from 10:00am till around 3:00pm, so if you have clinic that day maybe we’ll see you. I did hook up with George yesterday and had a chance to talk to him and his wife. Nice folks. Well, I sure hope that Ty/Whit have such nice accommodations when in residency! It looks very clean & practical. It must feel sooooo good to be out and about Neal! Lots & lots of wet wipes I’m sure! Would love to pay a visit whenever you’re ready! Please give me a call when the dust clears Trish…..just a stone’s throw away!
