Grandson number 4, Caleb Britton, was born last night at 6:05 PM after a couple days of laboring. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are going up to see them tomorrow. Can’t wait to get my hands on him!
Neal had a CT scan today followed by a doctor’s appointment. The scan showed that his tumor is growing again. 🙁 So, he will start a new regimen of chemo that he hasn’t had before. He will be hospitalized this Sunday and have one of the drugs on Monday and the other one on Tuesday. They want to monitor him this first time to see how he responds. His next treatment will be in two weeks as out patient. They will give both drugs on the same day.
We are disappointed but trust that God is in control. It doesn’t mean though that it doesn’t stink. Neal is down 30 pounds and a little weak and tired. Pray that he tolerates this treatment well and it does it’s job.
God was so gracious to give us the blessing of Caleb during this time in our journey. Proud grandparent’s will post pictures tomorrow!
On the journey,
Trish
Sooooo exciting for B&M&E&All of you!! Have fun; enjoy!
Just finished a week of VBS with 76 kids–Our theme, based on Daniel, was: God is with You–During changes, needing help, being afraid, being lonely, and being thankful. Again, we are on our knees in prayer for you and also praising God that we know that you all know that–Through it all, God is with you.
Much love, Aunt Gene and Uncle Keith
