My friend Sherry and I took beginning glass blowing this weekend. We learned how to gather the hot glass, maneuver it, blow it and shape it. it was very fun.
The glass was a lifeless shell until we blew into . We blew life into the glass. It changed shape, was molded, heated some more and made into something useful.
“Then The Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7 God breathes life into us. Jesus’work began in us when we first believed in him. The Holy Spirit enables us to be more like Christ every day. The good work that Jesus began in us continues throughout our lifetime until we meet Jesus face-to-face. (Phil. 1:6)
