I was laying in bed for the past couple of hours in a “stuck” position. I was too flat and because my chest muscles are so sore, I couldn’t move. I finally woke Neal up to help move me. Ouch..
Let me bring you up to date on a few things.
1. I got back the great news that I am NOT a “breast gene” (BRCA 1, BRCA2) carrier. Praise God!
2. I made it through my PET can. (This is tell if the cancer has spread). I was worried because I had not been able to keep anything down since my surgery. They tell you to come well hydrated but not to eat or drink 6 hours before. I didn’t have to drink the contrast since I had been sick. (I was worried I wouldn’t keep in down). Dr Logan was in the building so he came and talked with me and I was able to get hydrated intervaneously.
Laying there for 30 minutes during the test I realized how much scripture I don’t have memorized. I was challenged to work on that during all my down time in the next few weeks. What are some of your favorite passages of scripture?
Good night or good morning where ever you are in the world!
Love,
Trish
I Peter 5:6-10
“(6&7)Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you…”
“…(10)And the God of all grace, who called you to eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Praying for healing and strength!
