Turkey tracks…

My time at Taylor went well.  There was no football game so I didn’t have much chance to see anyone I knew.  Karsten and I did walk around campus.  When I have seen him on previous trips I am going in and out of his apartment only.  I thought about Neal a lot but instead of crying I found myself smiling remembering some good times.  Karsten and I went to Muncie to get him groceries and go out for dinner.  I was back home by 7:30pm.

Of course no trip to Taylor is complete without a stop at Ivanhoes, the ice cream shop in town.

Turkey tracks!  Yummy!

Parents weekend at Taylor

Wengatz Hall, Olson Hall, the LA building, walk around the circle, the DC, Ivenhoes, the lemon Pacer, first kiss, Dr Borkholder, Fairlane apartment, the Hodsons, ring down…..and many more.  These are all memories from my days at Taylor University where I met Neal.  Tomorrow I head there for parents weekend, my last one ever at Taylor.  This will be the first time I have been there since Neal’s death.  I’m anticipating it being an emotional day full of wonderful memories of days long gone.  I would appreciate pray for comfort and strength.

On the journey,
Trish
