On my way to an appointment today I saw a gaggle of geese on the golf course. They were so loud that I pulled my car over to see what was the commotion. As they flew in, I imagined they were upset that the pond was frozen over. As I drove on and thought about the geese I felt we shared similar emotions. What was once familiar to them was no longer. It can be frustrating, sometimes infuriating, that your world has been turned upside down. Sometimes I just want to scream “This isn’t fair.” What is my new normal? I’m still waiting for God to show me.
I have set my hope in Christ that he will continue to deliver me. (2 Corinthians 1:11). And I trust that God’s Word says that he will work all this for my good because I have been called for his purposes, (Romans 8:28), even on days like today. 🙂
On the journey,
Trish
