Sunday I took an art class using centrifugal force to ladle cast glass. We formed bowl shapes in sand on a potters wheel (Yes, Uncle Joel I used a potter’s wheel!) then pressed in patterns.
We poured in molten glass and spun it on the wheel to make unique glass bowls.
The bowls had to cool slowly so I was able to pick them up today. Walla…The finished products!
Each of the bowls turned out very differently. I am reminded of a verse in the Bible, Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advanced for us to do.” He created each of us uniquely. Each experience we have or person we encounter God uses to shape us for His use. We are God’s masterpiece!
On the journey,
Trish
