First and Last

This school year is winding down quickly, especially having a high school senior. We are experiencing quite of few “lasts”: soccer, prom, DECA, conferences, etc. One of the kids has been in high school over the past 12 years!

On the other hand we are experiencing quite a few “firsts” without Neal: holidays, soccer, prom, birthdays. We are anticipating Neal’s and Dale’s birthday May 11 and 9 along with Mother’s Day. I think most of the kids will be able to come home so we can be all together.

It’s a time of a lot of mixed emotions. Sometimes I feel like I’m riding on the carousel at Silver Beach- up and down and all around. (See the picture below) I am thankful that God tells us that He is the first and the last, who is, and who was and who is to come (Rev. 1:8). He is the constant in my life. Although circumstances may change, God never does.

Thank you God that You are the one thing in my life I can depend on, trust and have hope.

On the journey,
Trish
