We were able to go to Muncie today for Corbin’s dedication. On Tuesday we weren’t sure if Neal would get to go with us. The University of Chicago wants Neal to get bloodwork done locally twice a week in between his treatments. Tuesday his platelete and white blood count were both very low which required Neal to get a bag of plateletes. When he went Thursday to have his bloodwork done, his numbers were great! So we went to Indianapolis yesterday to visit Whitney and Ty and then on to Muncie today.
Visiting the kids this weekend and being invited to some friends house for dinner Friday night, Neal is feeling energized to ready for his next treatment.
The plan after this treatment is for Neal to get a scan to see how effective the chemo is on his tumor. Probably more treatments but everything depends on how the tumor responds to the treatment. So basically this is all in God’s hands. He is the one in control! 🙂
