Yesterday went well at the University of Chicago. We arrrived at 9:30 Chicago time and got home at 7PM. It was a long day! The infusion room at the univeristy is a very busy place–not very restful. Neal received retuxin starting at about 11AM after receiving some benadryl and tylenol. Part-way through Neal broke out with chills, a reaction to the retuxin. The nurse stopped the retuxin and gave him some drugs to stop the reaction. After waiting awhile they resumed the retuxin with no more problems. The benadryl made Neal sleep a few of the hours. Today he was good as new and able to work!
